Zermatt Village

Remarkable for its hotel tradition, the village thrives with tourism and more than a hundred hotels and chalets. At 9 am and 5 pm in summer, a herd of goats can be seen going down the main street Bahnhofstrasse that is lined with souvenir shops and restaurants.

Rising To The Clouds

Matterhorn

The sharp peak overlooks Zermatt from a height of 4,478 meters. Its unique shape made Matterhorn the most photographed mountain in the world and inspired the Swiss Toblerone chocolate logo. Matterhorn is surrounded by great hiking paths.
