Windsor
House of Windsor has been the reigning royal house in the United Kingdom since 1917 when King George V replaced the historic name of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. One of their residences, Windsor, was founded by William the Conqueror and nowadays The Queen resides at the castle over Easter.

Middle Ward Crown
Round Tower & The Wards
The Round Tower is situated in the Middle Ward court and crowns the large complex. Visitors may explore mutliple areas of the castle but some are open to the public only at certain times of the year. State apartments is one of the most interesting parts to visit.
Royal Weddings
St. George’s Chapel
Many royal weddings have taken place in the Chapel. The most recent was the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on May 19, 2018. When visiting the interior, don’t forget to see the beautifully decorated ceiling and marble memorial.
King’s Education
Eton College
Likely the most famous public school in the world has educated generations of British aristocrats, including Prince William and Prince Harry. It remains one of a few single-sex boys’ colleges in the UK and parts of the complex are open for guided tours.
