Basic Information

Vianden is a small town located in the Diekirch District close to the border between Germany and the Grand Douchy of Luxembourg. It has a population of around 2,000 people and is one of the most visited places in the country.

Vianden Chairlift

Ride on the only chairlift in Luxembourg takes around 10 minutes. You glide 220 meters uphill from where you can enjoy splendid views of the town, castle, and the Our River. This is a great starting point for a walk through the streets of Vianden. One way ticket for adults costs €5.
