The city is located on the shore of Lake Lucerne at the foot of Swiss Alps. The Chapel Bridge dating back to the 14th century is the oldest covered footbridge in Europe. When walking over, raise your eyes towards the roof to admire dozens of painted frames showing important events from the history of Lucerne.

Lion Monument

The wounded lion commemorates the Swiss Guards killed during the French Revolution in 1792 and is one of the most iconic monuments in Switzerland. The rock is surrounded by a quiet pond and you can truly feel the powerful atmosphere of the place.

Colours And Relax

Weinmarkt Square

Most parts of the historic centre of Lucerne are a pedestrian zone so you can move around without being disturbed by traffic. Beautifully decorated houses play with colours and are home to numerous restaurants and shops selling local goods.

Konečně po delší pauze nový příspěvek. Už bylo na čase 🙂 Opět jsi nezklamal a nabídl své krásné fotografie z tohoto nádherného města, které jsem před lety také navštívila.
