The Chapel Bridge dating back to the 14th century is the oldest covered footbridge in Europe. When walking over, raise your eyes towards the roof to admire dozens of painted frames showing important events from the history of Lucerne.

The wounded lion commemorates the Swiss Guards killed during the French Revolution in 1792 and is one of the most iconic monuments in Switzerland. The rock is surrounded by a quiet pond and you can truly feel the powerful atmosphere of the place.
