From Castle To Embankments In

Ljubljana

The capital city of Slovenia is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Europe. Known for its charming architecture and beautiful streets, Ljubljana offers a unique blend of history and modernity. From exploring the majestic castle to strolling along the calm river, the magic of this city captivates every visitor.

Basic Information

The capital city of Slovenia is located in the Central Slovenia region. It has around 280,000 inhabitants and is symbolised by a dragon representing courage and power. The look of the city was highly influenced by a notable Slovene architect Jože Plečnik. His projects are mostly categorised as Vienna Secession style and can also be found in Prague or Vienna.
