Driving Across The Central Part Of
Kos Island
Greece counts around 6,000 islands scattered across the Aegean and Ionian Seas. Today, we’ll visit two inhabited islands Kos and Nisyros that offer much more than only beaches and hotel resorts. There is an international airport on Kos but the latter island needs to be reached by boat from the port of Kardamena.

Walk In a Volcano
Stefanos Crater
Nisyros island gives a unique opportunity to visit the bottom of the youngest active volcano in Greece. The main crater Stefanos is almost 30 meters deep and you can smell its intense sulphurous vapours before even climbing down. Make sure to take good shoes.
Afternoon Chill

This beautiful small village is located in the mountains of central Kos. It’s a great place to shop around for Greek handmade souvenirs or to take a sip of a refreshing drink in one of the taverns. Great views of the shore will not let you leave easily.
Climbing Dikeos
Palio Pyli
The Old Pyli is an abandoned village situated on the steep slopes of Dikeos mountain with a Byzantine castle on the top. Walking uphill may be exhausting but it will reward you with nice views of the island and you can meet the only current inhabitants – goats.
Thermal Springs
Therma Beach
Hot springs mix with the sea in a natural pool that has a temperature between 40 and 50 °C. The water is rich in sulphur, calcium, magnesium and other elements that bear healing properties to skin and joints.
